Animal Photos Are Trending

Yay animal photos!

Here are some of my animal photos:

In Bohol, Philippines! This is a tarsier.

A snail in the forest next to my house

A viper in Penang. I touched its head because I thought it was fake.
Then I realised it was real when I felt it breathing haha! It felt a little furry!

The green coloured vipers were more common

And lastly a python which I didn't need to worry about too much about it
moving or posing a threat to me!

And some fish going in a circle for some reason at a temple in Penang!
It looks nicer small because the circle is more apparent!

So as you can see, most of these photos are close ups of the animals. It's quite fun to get close to them, but it's also quite hard! Tonight I also learnt that I don't have many animal photos! Learning something everyday!

Animal Photography

Animal photography is a very common type of photography, but so hard to get right if you don't have the patience (or sometimes luck). Shazeb has shown the difficulties in obtaining animal photography, waiting for hours on end to get the photos, and he pulled it off amazingly! Really one of the best animal photos I've seen!
It's hard to compare with his photos, but here are some of mine, just to show how rewarding animal photography can be if you have the patience to wait for the right moment.

Interesting use of Shadows and Lighting

I think these photos are actually really interesting because the lighting and shadows give the photos a really unique effect! 

 This photo was shot in the Botanical Gardens in the late afternoon, I needed to get in a weird position while taking it, but I think it turned out pretty well!

This one was a photo of the Star Cruise Virgo in the Malaysian port city of Penang, the shadows from the pier added an amazing effect.
